vetlana Konnikova studied journalism and art at Moscow State University. While residing in the former Soviet Union, she wrote nonfiction books and many award-winning television scripts. Now she wants to share with young readers the fanciful stories she heard as a child and has never forgotton. She lives in South Florida.
